Sony VENICE CineAlta Full Frame 6K Sensor Motion Picture Camera System
The newest edition to Sony CineAlta range, the Sony VENICE 6K camera is equipped with a 36x24mm full-frame sensor designed specifically for the demands and performance of high end cinematography. Capturing images up to a maximum resolution of 6048×4032, the camera features a modular design with control displays on both sides of the camera, anamorphic capabilities, 8-step ND filter and a new colour management system. In full-frame, you can use the full 6048 pixel width of the sensor for widescreen spherical 2.39:1 or Large Format Scope. VENICE’s wide 36mm full-frame sensor can capture images that have the equivalent of 1-2 stops shallower depth of field compared to Super35. The VENICE can record in almost any format, including full-frame anamorphic or spherical and by switching modes also Super35 anamorphic or spherical. When it comes to recording formats internally, the VENICE can support XAVC, ProRes or MPEG HD recording onto SxS memory card.
